Sell medicines that need a prescription

Mark a medicine's schedule on the product. The bill then asks for the doctor, the patient and a photo of the prescription.

  1. Open the product and pick its Drug schedule (India): H, H1 or X.
  2. Bill it as usual. Tap Add prescription details on the bill.
  3. Pick or add the doctor. Type the patient's name, and for H1 and X the address or phone.
  4. Add the prescription photo. H1 and X need it.
  5. For the register, open Business, tap Pharmacy, then Schedule H1 / X register.

Good to know

  • These are India's rules. Elsewhere turn on Medicine rules in What you sell.
  • With no signal the bill still saves. The photo goes up when the phone is back online.
  • Only the shop admin and logins with Reports see the prescriptions and the photos.
  • A doctor list can come from a spreadsheet: tap Add a doctor, then Upload a spreadsheet.
